In this masterclass, you’ll develop the knowledge and control needed to cut fabric with accuracy and efficiency. In this masterclass, you will: • Understand how to cut on the fold to create symmetrical pattern pieces • Learn how and when to cut fabric crossways for design or efficiency • Transfer pattern shapes accurately using tracing techniques • Apply effective pinning methods to stabilise fabric before cutting • Mark notches, darts, and key construction points with precision • Align pattern pieces correctly for consistent and cohesive results • Improve cutting accuracy to support professional-quality garment construction Perfect for beginners building strong foundational skills, as well as experienced sewists refining their technique, this course will strengthen your approach to fabric preparation and pattern cutting. Cancellation Policy

Students are required to be 16 years+ unless accompanied by an adult. Full payment is required at booking to secure a place on the workshop. Cancellations are permitted up to 24 hours in advance of the session start time. Students requesting a cancellation within 24 hours of the session start time will be offered a transfer to an alternative course. The transferring to an alternative course for non-attending students without correspondence is at the discretion of Laura Rae Craft Co. Laura Rae Craft Co. reserves the right to issue refunds when deemed appropriate. Students are required to complete a booking form detailing their name, telephone number, email, and home address. Personal data is collected and stored by Wix.com and will only be used for its intended purpose. Data is kept up to date and not held for longer than is necessary. Laura Rae Craft Co. requires a minimum of four students to be booked for any session. A class with fewer than three bookings may run at the discretion of the teacher, but we reserve the right to reschedule undersubscribed classes. As with the nature of group classes, late arrivals can impact the progress of the rest in the class. Laura Rae Craft Co. reserves the right to refuse entry to late arrivals if it is deemed detrimental on the wider class. If students are running late, please contact the class tutor. In the unlikely event where Laura Rae Craft Co. needs to cancel inor postpone a class due to an unavoidable circumstance (extreme weather, venue issues, sickness), students will be given notice of this prior to the event. Where possible, you will receive no less than 24 hours, although this is sometimes unavoidable. Students will be entitled to a refund or enrolment to an alternative course.
